Welcome to my webpage. I enjoy macro photography, photographing the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and creating Cyanotypes, cards & prints.

Up until 2022 I was a member of The Guild of Photographers and over the years I have been Highly Commended and shortlisted many times by the International Garden Photographer of the Year. 

I have recently bought a DJI Mavic Air 2, so expect some flight footage and ariel photography soon!

I love experimenting with different techniques & one that I’m really enjoying is (wet) Cyanotypes which is an early photographic process creating images without a camera.

Using ammonium citrate & potassium ferricyanide to create a photosensitive solution which is painted onto the surface of water colour paper and left to dry & then exposed with flowers or leaves to the sun or a UV light. The resulting pieces are unique and present botanical prints in a different and painterly manner.

Each of my pieces are created with plants and flowers exposed using only the North Yorkshire sun (when we get it!)
