This weekend I have spent so much time in the garden that you would think that it would be perfect – no way! There is always something to do, Sunday was spent cutting the hedges and tidying all the leaves up from the garden. Also, I have a very large Ivy bush that is very big, each year I keep chopping huge branches off it but it never looks any smaller.
It is a host to so many birds & insects; each year I often see Blue Tits, Blackbirds, Pigeons, to name a few of the birds that have built nests in the Ivy.
This is one of the many Blackbird fledglings, one of the many birds that make their home in the Ivy.
