Today I’m taking a trip into York to visit the York River Market that is open today. It’s a bit wet but fingers crossed for the sun coming out and drying up the puddles! Unfortunately I’m not displaying any of my work this year but maybe next time.
YRAM’s relaxed and vibrant atmosphere has been compared to Left Bank in Paris and welcomes all. YRAM is free of charge to come along and you are free to browse/buy directly from an array of Yorkshire based artists. Meander along the riverside walkway where you will find over 30 x different artists exhibiting their art works along the railings.
YRAM hosts a broad range of artists and makers. Expect to find ceramics, jewelry, paintings, prints, photographs, clothing, candles and much more.
I’ll update my page later on with some images of the day and any purchases that I make!
UPDATE – by the time I got there it had been rained off and the last remaining stall was just leaving. The next one is 24th and 25th July so here’s to better weather!
What a great place to visit.
