Storm Malik rushed into the UK on Saturday 29th January causing quite a bit of damage. Here, in Yorkshire I just had a few large branches fall down and scatter the garden. Hope all was safe where you were if you live in the UK.

Storm Malik was named by the Danish Meteorological Institute as the most impacts are expected there. They’re part of the northern group of European nations that name storms. The Met Office names storms in association with Ireland’s Met Eireann and the Netherland’s KNMI meteorology service. The next storm to directly impact Ireland, the Netherlands or the UK will be called Storm Corrie! Here’s a list of names for the next UK storms:-
I made a short video of some of the trees in the surrounding area, I think the storm at this point was just dying down.

Hearing about the damage caused by both storms it’s good to know you didn’t suffer too badly! We barely registered Malik down south but Corrie is whipping things up a bit today!
