Keep warm and safe. We were treated to snow on my last trip to the UK in 2016. My girlfriend and her family lives in Dacre Banks in Yorkshire. We woke up to icicles on the roof outside. Us Aussies still get very excited when we see snow! It did snow at our Aussie home two years ago but didn’t last for more than two hours. My cat Rambo was so funny to watch because he didn’t know what snow was!

Thank you. Dacre Banks, a most beautiful place to live. It is not far from Brimham Rocks and Harrogate, two places that I love to visit.

I think we visited Brimham Rocks and it was very cold with the snow! Haven’t been to Harrogate yet although been to lots of other places in Yorkshire. My sister-in-law is from Huddersfield.
We are currently enjoying the remake of the delightful James Herriot series “All Creatures Great and Small” on our TV. I loved the original series but this one is so well cast and it does really show off a beautiful part of the world being Yorkshire.

My best friend moved to Huddersfield many many years ago when we were both 6. I have not watched the new ACG&S although I did love the original series and used to love watching that on an evening (probably a Sunday!)
