First Ladybird of Spring

It’s another glorious day. Getting back into the garden is a great feeling.

Watching the cats chasing bees (unsuccessfully thank goodness) and hearing the birds sing in the trees whilst gardening.

I found my first ladybird of Spring, I love photographing them although you have to be pretty quick once they starting moving!

There are more than 40 species of these familiar beetles in Britain.
Many are predatory on aphids and other insects, a few eat fungi or plants
